Originally released as one of four Specialty shapes in 1945, the Barrel is our take on the sturdy-sitting Poker design, but with a more streamlined shank and stem, and a rounded bowl reminiscent of its namesake.

The Speciality Rusticated series adds a rugged touch to our range of lightweight, elegant Specialty shapes, juxtaposing the trim designs with a dark, earthy stain and a rustic, old-world texture.

Something of a departure from the stout, muscular aesthetic that characterizes so much of our portfolio, the Specialty line contains a number of our more petite, lightweight shapes such as the Barrel, Tankard, Calabash, and Belgique. It was created in 1945 and remains a popular range to this date.
